Two independent axes

Status says how far the work has got
Horizon says when it is intended: now, next, soon, future or hold
A horizon is present if and only if the record is adopted and open

One skill per move

ki-next captures, adopts, selects, defers, holds and releases
ki-plan shapes a draft to Ready; ki-implement starts and delivers
ki-accept accepts, cancels and prunes, each with human approval

Pruning is the exception

A record is deleted only after a commit holds it as done or cancelled
The prune commit removes explicitly selected records and nothing else
Its subject is chore(roadmap): prune N done work record(s)
