Knowledge Islands grows through the experience of the islands that use it. A contribution is a proposal to improve the shared model in a way that can benefit more than one island.
Contribution Process
Improve what is shared.
The Contribution Process is the external path for proposing additions or changes to the common Knowledge Islands model. It complements, rather than replaces, the governance inside each island.
2. Scope the proposal
A contribution needs clear boundaries and must be generic enough to belong in the canonical Library rather than one territory's local practice.
3. Council assesses it
Arcadia's Council assesses proposals before a change enters the canonical record. Ratification is what keeps the shared model trustworthy.
Participation
Contribution is not internal setup.
Each island keeps its own Charter, Council, and local Contribution Process. Establishing those foundations is different from proposing a change to the shared model.
If you are setting up an island, begin with the practical guidance. If you are refining the common model, use the Contribution Process as the governance boundary.
